With her frequent flyer-miles, a thick passport, lavish apartments in every American metropolis and as many as 15 international magazine cover appearances, Priyanka Chopra is on W Magazine's New Royals list.
As she gets dressed for her first time as a front-row guest at the New York Fashion Week for Joseph Altuzarra's Spring 2017 runway show, the magazine asks her questions on all things fashion. Honest and candid like always, Priyanka said she made some terrible sartorial choices in the past when she had no idea that less was more.
The actress revealed that since she was thrown into showbiz when she was 17 and was learning how to feel and look like a star, she had made quite a fashion errors.
"Your style has to be defined by you, it can't be defined by models you see in magazines or runway shows. Eventually the outfit will make you who you are. It has to be about what it looks like you. Instead of focusing on wanting to be someone else, we have to be the best versions of us. I always wanted to grow up and be Priyanka," she elaborated.
Priyanka attends events looking drop-dead gorgeous, but getting dressed and having make-up on is not her favourite job of the day. On an off-day, she takes 10 minutes to get ready. "I finish my shower, put on lipstick, mascara, and the easiest outfit (which is probably some sort of onesie), my hair is up or it falls into place," Priyanka added.
On the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in "Quantico" Season 2 and "Baywatch." The leading lady does not have a Bollywood film in her kitty for now.
