More than a superstar, Shah Rukh Khan is a phenomenon. From a humble background, the light-eyed Delhi boy went on to become one of the most-followed and admired stars in the world and also the second-richest.
Shah Rukh has a loyal fan base and to celebrate the fandom, SRKUniverse, a dedicated fan club of the star, has released the promo to the 4th SRK Fandom awards. To be held on October 31 at Club Millennium in Juhu, Mumbai, the award show will have the actor's fans from across globe attending it.
Best Fan Club, Best Fan Girl, Best Fan Boy, Fastest News Breaker, Best Photo Editor, Friendliest SRKian, Best Video Editor, Number Cruncher SRKian, Funniest SRKian and Best Writer SRKian are some of the categories of the show.
The fourth edition of the event will go live on the fan club's social media pages and shared on its YouTube channel. Expect stand-up comedy and live music performances at the show.
"SRKUniverse has always followed the motto of uniting fans all over the world. So we have decided to conduct SRK Fandom Awards in Mumbai every year from now onwards," SRKUniverse founder Muhammad Ashraf said in a statement.
The idea of having an award show dedicated to SRK's fans is to make his admirers happy, uniting them in the process, Ashraf further elaborated.
In other news, Shah Rukh is in Amsterdam shooting for Imtiaz Ali's The Ring with Anushka Sharma. The team is likely to wrap up the Euro schedule by the end of this month, after which they will shift base to Punjab. The romantic-drama is his first film with Imtiaz and third with Anushka after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
