Director Vineeth Sreenivasan's latest Malayalam movie "Jacobinte Swargarajyam" (JSR) is on its way to become the third back-to-back blockbuster by actor Nivin Pauly, after his superhit movies "Premam" and "Action Hero Biju."
According to trade analysts, the family entertainer, based on the real life story of an NRI family, has collected a gross amount of Rs. 9.11 crore within nine days of its release at the Kerala box office. "#JacobinteSwargarajyam 9 Days Kerala Gross 9.11cr Excellent - Another Blockbuster On The Way For Nivin - Vineeth Combo (sic)," tweeted Malayalam Review. The Nivin-starrer has collected an approximate amount of Rs. 11.2 lakh on Sunday, April 18, and has earned a total amount of Rs. 1.16 crore from multiplexes in Kochi alone within 9 days of its release.

The movie, which narrates the touching and inspiring story of NRI businessman Jacob and his family, has been tagged as the best family entertainer in recent times. While the first half of the "JSR" narrates the happy moments of the family, the plot gets a serious tone in the second half when they face a major financial crisis.The movie stars Renji Panicker in the titular role Jacob and also has Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Sreenath Bhasi, Aima Rosmy Sebastian, Stacen, Ashwin Kumar, Sai Kumar, Dinesh Prabhakar and Reba John in pivotal roles.
"JSR," produced under the banner of Big Bang Entertainments by debutant Noble Thomas, is the first family movie of Vineeth and the fourth project of the director with Nivin, after their superhit films "Malarvadi Arts Club," "Thattathin Marayathu" and "Oru Vadakkan Selfie."
