One of Bollywood's successful superhero franchises – Krrish – is coming up with its fourth instalment, and from the latest update, it appears that it's going to be one thrilling ride. Rakesh Roshan is on to the script and has figured out the climax.
Talking to SpotboyE, Rakesh said that he narrated the script briefly to wife, Pinky Roshan, and son, Hrithik Roshan, and they loved it.
"I had a vague idea of the film's story and how we can make it. We can't spend equivalent to what is spent on a superhero film in Hollywood, so we ought to concentrate more on content. I called up Hrithik and narrated the idea. Pinky (wife) and Hrithik both said: Wow, why didn't you think of this before," Rakesh elaborated.
In Krrish 4, the story will only focus on Krishna's (Krrish) character and Hrithik will not play a double in this one. The film is scheduled to be released in 2018.
What's interesting to note is that the push for making a fourth Krrish film came from a Ganapati idol that resembled the caped crusader very closely. It was when he saw how people were praying "fervently" and offering their respects to the idol, Rakesh realised it was time for him to make another one.
In other news, Hrithik and Rakesh have wrapped up their upcoming film Kaabil 11 days ahead of its schedule and even released a teaser to it. The theatrical trailer of Kaabil, which will most likely be attached to the prints of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay, will arrive on October 26.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil also stars Yami Gautam in the lead role.
