Thanks to the stellar visual effects, SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" has been breaking every box office record standing in its way. With perfect lead actors and a strong storyline, the epic war film is sure to soar further.
What's interesting to note here is, Rajamouli's magnum opus is, in a way, similar to a Hollywood film series -- "The Lord of the Rings" -- which popularised Elvish.
According to a Firstpost report, a new language too was created for one of the tribes – Kalakeya -- which featured in the Rajamouli film. Called Kilikili, it has 750 words and 40 grammar rules.
Madhan Karky, the creator of Kilikili, opened up about the process of developing a new language to Behindwoods. He spoke about how Rajamouli insisted on something that would come across as intimidating.
"It was a different experience and also was a difficult one to make the language sound very rude. There are quite a few new sounds in it. For example, the sounds that we make in normal speech like tch, tsk will sound very different in Kiliki. It is very tough to teach this language. Prabhakar & the artists who speak it in the film learnt it and performed very well," he further elaborated.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan in key roles, the film has already collected over Rs 200 crore worldwide.
