Varun Dhawan's "Judwaa 2" will feature songs from the Salman Khan starrer. Director David Dhawan said the makers have the option of using the chartbusters but the film is still in scripting stage, adding that they are yet to decide.
"Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who produced Judwaa, is also producing the sequel. He plans to include two hit songs from the original film — 'Oonchi Hai Building' and 'Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Baarah.' These two songs are so popular that they are still played at events and parties. Hence, the makers decided to incorporate those songs in the sequel," an insider told DNA.
Varun dancing to these tracks will be an interesting feat, says the source, adding that the young actor is a fabulous dancer.
Meanwhile, David said the team wants to do its best for the film and it'll be really great to have the entertaining tracks in the sequel. "We have the option of using them. Everybody knows my films are full-on entertainers. What better than to have some of these chartbusters that Salman has danced to and made so huge, recreated with Varun dancing to them? We want to do the best for the film," he added.
While David is positive about the film, Varun seems to be feeling the pressure. Talking to the Press Trust of India, he said that he has to prove himself with the film, adding that it's a "big responsibility."
Meanwhile, there has been unending speculations about the leading lady of the film. Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Kingfisher model Aisha Sharma and Mawra Hocane are some of the names who have been loosely associated with the project.
Recently, a SpotboyE report stated that producer Sajid Nadiadwala had a long chat with Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun while filming the climax scene of "Dishoom" at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai.
