The party number of the year -- "Kala Chashma" -- from "Baar Baar Dekho" is out. In between all the fun dance moves and catchy tunes, what really stands out is Katrina Kaif's rock solid abs (and Sidharth Malhotra's handsome face).
Getting washboard abs like Katrina's is a tough feat, but her trainer, Yasmi Karachiwala, makes it sound like it's a cake walk. The actress never messes with her food; she follows a balanced diet.
Katrina has oat cakes in the morning, followed by fish and vegetables for lunch, Yasmin told BollywoodLife. Later in the day, she munches on some healthy snacks and some protein crushers at the gym. She rounds off the day with eggs and soup.
"Katrina has been at a good fitness level for a very long time. I think before the shoot of Pashmina song in Fitoor, she had put on a little weight and we really worked hard to shed those extra kilos relying on different sets of Pilates, cardio. Since then, she is very regular and we have been maintaining that, getting better and better with every passing day," the web portal quoted the trainer as saying.
This isn't the first time that Katrina killed us all with her super defined abdominal packs. At a sports event earlier this year, she had everyone talking about how great she looked and the physique she had achieved. Also, "Chikni Chameli" and "Sheila Ki Jawaani" are some of the songs that had her flaunt her abs.
Last year, at Yasmin's book launch ("Sculpt and Shape: The Pilates Way"), Katrina had said that she mostly trains keeping in mind specific goals and the roles she plays in her films. Also, she said she follows a sensible diet.
On the work front, Katrina has Anurag Basu's "Jaggu Jasoos" lined up, in which she is paired alongside ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.
