Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan are coming together for the third time after "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan," but what has us excited the most is the premise of the film. The untitled project, which is to be helmed by Imtiaz Ali, focuses on its central character's journey to self-discovery.
The film is scheduled to roll in July and is expected to be shot across Budapest, London and Punjab. And like it has been reported earlier, SRK will be seen essaying the role of a tour guide.
Meanwhile, Anushka is excited to be part of the project. Talking about her packed calendar to the Indian Express, the leading lady said that she has managed fine so far.
"I have been working on movies back to back. After 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,' I moved to 'Sultan' and 'Phillauri.' I will soon start shooting for Imtiaz Ali's next with Shah Rukh Khan. I have managed fine so far, though I crib to my manager that she does not give me even a day's holiday," she elaborated.
The actors may have confirmed their presence in the film, but there's still an official announcement awaited.
Roughly two months ago, SRK said that the technical team was being assembled and added that in a month's time they would announce the film. "He (Imtiaz) is deciding who has to do what first, apart from the stars. He's casting the whole film and the technicians," he told DNA.
While Shah Rukh has an interesting line-up of films, in which he's working with filmmakers he hasn't had the chance to work with before, his fans may already be disappointed about the fact that he just has this one other release this year ("Fan" excluded) — Gauri Shinde's "Dear Zindagi" with Alia Bhatt.
Rumour has it, after wrapping up Imtiaz's film, SRK will begin with Aanand L Rai's project, in which he plays a dwarf.
