The first-look poster of the upcoming Malayalam movie Achayans, unveiling the stylish avatars of the lead actors, has been released online on Thursday, December 8. The colourful poster features Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Unni Mukundan, Adil Ibrahim and Sanju Sivram.
Achayans is the directorial venture of Kannan Thamarakkulam, who has earlier helmed the Jayaram movies like Aadupuliyattam and Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare, which were opened to average response from the audience. The ensemble cast of his third movie is expected to help the comedy entertainer to perform well at the box office. Sshivada Nair and Anu Sithara also said to be part of the upcoming movie apart from Ramesh Pisharady, Suja Varun and Sohan Seenulal in significant roles.
Scripted by Sethu, Achayans is being bankrolled by CK Padma Kumar under the banner of DNVP Creations. Pradeep Nair handles the cinematography, while Kaithapram, Anil Panachooran and Harinarayan pen the lyrics of the songs, for which Ratheesh Vega composes the music.
However, looking at the movies of Jayaram that were released in the past five years, it is evident that they have not been performing well at the box office. Will Achayans change his career graph is something the audience needs to wait and watch till its release. The makers are yet to announce the release date of the multi-starrer.
