Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani will appear on the big screen after three years with Ekta Kapoor's "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3". After the 2013 adult comedy "Grand Masti", the actor is set to feature in his upcoming film of the same genre.
The recent buzz is that Nin Dusanj, wife of Aftab, is not happy with her husband doing so many adult comedy films, Bollywood Life reported. Nin is feeling uncomfortable seeing Aftab in so many adult comedies.
On the other hand, the film "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" is getting good response from the audience. "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Mandana Karimi starrer film created a buzz with its trailer that crossed 10 million views on YouTube within two weeks.
The film is reportedly the first adult comedy flick of 2016 that will be released on 22 January. However, another sex comedy "Mastizaade" starring Sunny Leone is set to give a tough competition to "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3" as the former will be released on 29 January.
After "Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3", Aftab will appear in "Great Grand Masti" -- also a sex comedy. Aftab, who has done films like "Hungama" and "Footpath", has been doing adult comedy films for a long time.
Whether he will continue doing films in the same genre or not? Only time will tell. However, seeing the terms and conditions of India's censor board, it is surely a challenge to release a sex comedy on the big screen.
Recently, there were reports that the Information & Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry had demanded an explanation from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) regarding vulgarity shown in the trailers of "Kyaa Kool hain Hum 3" and "Mastizaade".
CBFC chairman Pahlaj Nihlani has reportedly sent an explanation. According to him, the scenes shown in these two adult comedy films' trailers are illegal and shocking.
