Bollywood diva Sunny Leone bagged an item number in Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Raees," and soon there were reports of the "Mastizaade" actress sharing screen-space with Aamir Khan in "Dangal." However, her manager and husband Daniel Webber has refuted the rumours.
Daniel told DNA that contrary to the reports, she is not working with Aamir in "Dangal." "None of this is true. Not sure where this info came from. As always we would love to work with them if the script and role requires," he told DNA.
The rumours started after a website carried an April Fools' Day story stating that Aamir and Sunny will share screen-space. Later, April 4, Subhash K Jha quoting a source said after "Raees," Sunny is ready to sizzle with Aamir on-screen.
"Aamir expressed a willingness to work with Sunny Leone some time back. He has now followed up his verbal commitment by actually finding space for Sunny Leone in Dangal. At the moment we are not very sure about the nature of the her performance in the film. But there is something definitely on the anvil," SKJ Bollywood News quoted a source as saying.
Sunny and Aamir have said that they want to work together. Sunny said that she is waiting for an opportunity to work with the "Dangal" actor, while Aamir tweeted that he would love to work with her. But looks like fans will have to wait a little longer to see Aamir and Sunny sharing screen-space.
Meanwhile, the "Mastizaade" actress recently shot an item number with Shah Rukh for the film "Raees." Sunny will shake a leg on the iconic song "Laila O Laila" from the film "Qurbani."
"Raees is set in the '80s and there was need of a song sequence. The makers unanimously selected 'Laila O Laila' which perfectly fits with the dark, gangster theme and period. It was suggested to Shah Rukh and it was his idea to get Sunny on board. A lavish set is being created in Mumbai and rehearsals are on in full swing," a source said in a statement.
