After capturing hearts in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" along with Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan is ready to entertain the audience again with R Balki's next project "Ki & Ka".
Recently, in a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Kareena spilled the beans regarding the director and her character in the film.
"He's got a brilliant mind. I really wanted to work with directors I haven't associated with till now, so when he approached me, I instantly decided to do the film. I am stepping away from my regular kinds of roles. I think Balki sets a milieu that's a lot more real. He is an actor's director," HT quoted Bebo as saying.
In the flick, Kareena will play the character of an independent, career-oriented woman who is the breadwinner of the house. On the other hand, her co-star Arjun Kapoor will portray a house husband.
"It's different for different people. A lot is said about marriage and responsibility, but it all lies in how you look at it. If you are happy and content with whatever you do — personally or at work — it comes out in the best form. I look at it as the coming together of like-minded people who want to spend their lives together," Kareena told HT.
"Ki & Ka" has created a lot of buzz since the beginning and the interesting title of the film -- 'Ki' derived from the word 'ladki' (girl) and 'Ka' is taken from 'ladka' (boy) -- has got fans even more curious.
The film is about a boy and a girl who get married, but their lifestyle is different from regular couples.
Director Balki is working hard to make it a masterpiece and before the shooting commenced, he, Arjun and Kareena were ''locked up" in the director's office for a week to rehearse the script.
