Reports suggested that Kapil would make his comeback on TV with a new show in which Shah Rukh would appear as the first celebrity guest. So when Kapil was asked about it, the comedian-actor said that he would love to have the superstar on the show.
"Even I heard he will come on the show. I did call him but he did not answer. We are doing a live show in Delhi first ...he (SRK) is from Delhi and has 'Fan' releasing soon so he might come. We would love to have him on the show," Kapil said at the event, according to Press Trust of India.
Shah Rukh shares a good bond with Kapil and he has promoted all his films on the comedian's previous show "Comedy Nights With Kapil," which used to be aired on Colors. Shah Rukh first appeared on his show to promote "Chennai Express" in 2013, later he promoted "Happy New Year," "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge" and "Dilwale." And if all goes well, fans might see Shah Rukh on Kapil's show this April.
Meanwhile, "Ki and Ka" actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor along with Virat Kohli and Saina Nehwal have shot for the promos welcoming the comedian, Spotboye.com reports.
Kapil's new show "The Kapil Sharma Show" will be aired on Sony Television during weekends from April 23 at 9.00 p.m. The show will feature Kapil, Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sumona Chakravarti and Sunil Grover.
"I trust my team. They are talented. We will do our best and work with honesty. We hope people will like this new show," Kapil said during the show launch, according to DNA.
