The shooting of Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie 2.0, which is popularly known as Enthiran 2, is happening at a brisk pace. The key portions involving the superstar and film's female lead Amy Jackson will be shot in Mahabalipuram from Wednesday, September 28.
Rajinikanth had reportedly taken a break from the shooting over health issues earlier this year. He had gone to the United States for treatment and arrived only after the release of his recent film Kabali. The Tamil superstar is reportedly doing fine now. Hence, he joined the shooting recently, say reports.
During Rajinikanth's absence, Shankar filmed scenes involving Akshay Kumar and other cast. The latest schedule will last for 20 days and it is said that a grand song will also be shot.
Meanwhile, the official Facebook page, which was active since the film hit the floors, is getting popular now. The cine goers and fans of Rajinikanth, Shankar and Amy Jackson can follow the page to get official updates on the film.
2.0 is said to be a sequel to Shankar's blockbuster "Enthiran", although the makers have not confirmed it. The first instalment had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the female lead and Rajini was seen in dual roles.
In the latest film, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing the role of a villain and it is being simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
