Bollywood hunk Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his 33rd birthday in London on the sets of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil."

The actor is shooting for Karan Johar's directorial along with Anushka Sharma and so couldn't celebrate his birthday with his family and friends in Mumbai.

However, a photo of him cutting a birthday cake is making rounds on social media. The picture has been shared by Karan Johar on Instagram.

Ranbir's mother, Neetu Kapoor, also wished her son on her Insta account with a photo of him as a child. She captioned it as: "Happy Birthday Rana !!! Wish u happiness n my blessings always. I have been sending all your msges to RK !!! He is very touched n thanks everyone."

Reportedly, the "Barfi" actor's lady love, Katrina Kaif, has given him a birthday surprise. She visited Ranbir on the sets of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" as the love birds were spotted in London, according to Hindustan Times.

Also, father Rishi Kapoor wished his son on social networking sites. Along with Ranbir, he has wished other stars including Lata Mangeshkar, who also celebrates her birthday on 28 September.

When he flew down to Mumbai to attend his latest flick "Tamasha" trailer launch, fans celebrated the actor's birthday. He had cut a cake along with his well wishers and the "Tamasha" team in the city on 22 September.
