Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund, the German club made the announcement on Saturday. The Armenia international becomes the third summer signing for the Red Devils under new manager Jose Mourinho.
Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were earlier announced as the other signings.
"Manchester United made a tremendous advance in terms of money to sign the player," said Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, according to his club's website.
According to the Sun, the fee is £26million.
"Borussia Dortmund wish Henrikh Mkhitaryan all the best for the coming season in both the Premier League and in the UEFA Europa League," said the club statement.
Mkhitaryan's contract with the German giants was due to end in the summer of 2017.
