Dharmendra and Hema Malini's youngest daughter, Ahana Deol, got engaged to Delhi-based business in Mumbai on Friday.
The 27-year-old got engaged to Vaibhav Vora at a private ceremony at Hema Malini's residence in Juhu.
"We all are very happy. Vaibhav is a very nice boy. It was a special day for us. Our blessings are with them," Hema told PTI.
Ahana and Vaibhav met last year at Esha Deol's wedding with businessman Bharat Thaktani and have been reportedly seeing each other for a few months now.
"After Esha's wedding last year, Ahana and Vaibhav instantly hit it off. The two were very serious about each other and sensing their commitment, both the families gave their consent within no time," a friend of Ahana told The Times of India.
The ceremony took place at around 6.30 pm on Friday. Ahana looked elegant in pink and purple coloured Indian outfit at her engagement.
Unlike her father, mother, sister and brothers - Sunny and Bobby - Ahana was not interested in Bollywood. She is a trained Odissi dancer and has done stage shows with her mother and sister.
"This is another big day in my life. Last year around the same time, Esha got married. And now, Ahana is getting ready to tie the knot. Once again, it's celebration time for us. Vaibhav is a very nice guy. We are very happy with the arrangement," Hema told TOI.
Hema also said that the wedding date is not decided yet. "Both the families will sit and decide about the marriage date which should be convenient to all," Hema said.
