Season 7 episode 3 of Hawaii Five-0 will see criminal profiler Alicia and McGarrett spending more time together as they join forces to hunt down a serial killer.
In the previous episode, Alicia helped McGarrett and Danny make some headway into the serial killer case, but she was reluctant to join the investigation. But that will change in the episode titled He Moho Hou meaning New Player, after she finds a dead body in her bed. But things take a turn for the worse when the serial killer kidnaps McGarrett and Alicia.
"In the fourth episode, they are in a lot of situations where they're very intimate, where the two of them are fighting for their lives," showrunner Peter M Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly. "Out of that always comes a connection with somebody, so I'm hoping there could be something. I don't know about a love interest, but I'm hoping those two bond over their experience and it's somebody that he could go to."
Elsewhere in the episode, viewers will be introduced to Kanya Sesser, who is playing the role of a former surfer who is now living as a homeless war veteran. In real life, Sesser is a surfer and model who was born without legs, but she has managed to become an inspiration to millions for defying popular preconceptions of beauty.
The official synopsis for He Moho Hou reads: "FBI profiler Alicia Brown is forced to join McGarrett in the hunt for the chess-piece killer when she finds a body in her bed. Meanwhile, Kono reconnects with a former surfing competitor who is now a disabled and homeless war veteran."
Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays on CBS. The episode can be watched via CBS All Access.
