Actress Sai Pallavi is just two movies old but she received immense love from the entire Malayalam and Tamil audience for her portrayal of 'Malar' character in the blockbuster movie Premam, opposite Nivin Pauly. Now, the actress is all set to make a grand debut in Kollywood, and dance choreographer and actor Prabhudeva has revealed the first look poster of her upcoming movie, Karu, directed by Vijay.

In the poster, set in a lush green background, Sai Pallavi is seen hugging a girl inside a bird's nest-like wreath. The girl's posture resembles that of a fetus inside the mother's womb. The alluring poster has already impressed the netizens who believe it to be the remarkable debut of the actress in Tamil cinema. Many celebs, including Arya, Jayam Ravi and Sayyeshaa‏, among others, have lauded the innovate poster of Karu through their social media handles.

Karu, touted to be a horror thriller is the production venture of Lyca Productions, and it also stars Naga Shourya and RJ Balaji in significant roles.

Meanwhile, Karu is not Sai's first Tamil movie as she had appeared in a minor role as Kangana Ranaut's friend in the romantic thriller Dhaam Dhoom in 2008. However, she made a mark as an actress with Alphonse Puthren's romantic entertainer Premam, followed by Sameer Thahir's family entertainer Kali opposite young star Dulquer Salmaan.
