There have been rumours lately that Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma have been roped in for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next untitled movie. However, there is no truth to the buzz.
Anushka's spokesperson has denied the rumour, saying that she would love to work with SLB, but there is no such plan as of now.
"Anushka Sharma would love to collaborate with Sanjay Leela Bhansali but as of now, there is no truth to the speculations claiming Anushka has been signed for his next. We request you to kindly refrain from reporting on the same," Anushka's spokesperson said in a statement, according to India Forums.
Earlier, there were reports that Bhansali wanted to cast Deepika Padukone alongside Salman in the movie, but the superstar was willing to have Anushka on board. It was reported that Salman had recommended Anushka's name as the female lead, and the director was considering the same.
However, there has not been any official announcement on any Bhansali-Salman collaboration.
Meanwhile, Salman has been busy shooting for Bharat that will once again see him romance Katrina Kaif. Being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie is slated to hit the theatres on Eid 2019. On the other side, Anushka will soon be seen playing one of the female leads in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero.
She plays the character of a specially-abled scientist in the movie. The trailer suggests that it will be one of her most challenging roles till date. Zero will be released on December 21.
