Makers of Sunny Leone's sex-comedy flick "Mastizaade" have postponed the film's release date to mid-January 2016 due to box office clash with "Hate Story 3".
"Mastizaade" and the Zareen Khan-starrer erotic thriller were going to release on the same day — 4 December. But, to avoid the clash, "Mastizaade" makers changed their release date to the beginning of next year.
Apparently, "Hate Story 3" producer Bhushan Kumar requested Pritish Nandy ("Mastizaade" producer) to change their release date as the adult-genre films releasing on the same date would affect both flicks' box office collection, according to Bollywood Life.
"Mastizaade" will present Sunny Leone — the diva popular for her on-screen skin show — in a double role. The film features Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor, who have proved their comic prowess earlier. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film's trailer is yet to be released.
On the other side, "Hate Story 3" has become quite popular ever since the release of its trailer, which suggests the film will have a lot of steamy scenes. Its songs are also being liked.
The film, which will release on 4 December, features Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi, Zareen Khan and Daisy Shah in pivotal roles.
Apart from Karan, who made his debut with Bipasha Basu in the erotic horror flick "Alone", the other three actors surprised audience with their hot looks.
Daisy made her debut as the girl next door in Salman Khan's "Jai Ho", while Zareen too made her first appearance on screen with the "Dabangg" actor in "Veer" as a princess.
However, Sharman has always entertained viewers with his performances on big screen, which were definitely different from his role in "Hate Story 3".
Though the songs and trailer have raised heated things up for viewers, it will be interesting to watch the actors come out of their comfort zone in this erotic thriller.
