The teaser of Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Haseena Parker, which was released by the makers on Friday, June 16, has received an overwhelming response from Bollywood celebrities.

Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Dia Mirza and many others have commented on the teaser. While KJo tweeted that it looks intense and gritty, Dia felt that the film promises to break stereotypes reserved for female actors.

Haseena Parker is based on the real-life story of Haseena, sister of India's most-wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim. Haseena entered the world of crime after the death of her husband Ismail.

Shraddha plays the lead character and although she makes an appearance towards the end of the short but intriguing video, she does leave quite a strong impact as a fearless and powerful gangster. The teaser also gives a glimpse Shraddha's brother Siddhanth as Dawood.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Haseena Parker is set to release on August 18.
