It won't be wrong to say that Nina Dobrev's "The Vampire Diaries" character, Elena Gilbert, is attracted to bad boys, as this would explain her ditching the good Salvatore brother, Stefan, for Damon.
Their on-screen romance slowly turned into an off-screen one, until last year when the two called it quits.
And now, Dobrev appears to be following the same pattern with her next alleged boyfriend.
She is reportedly dating her "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Chris Wood, who essays the role of a psychopath killer named Kai in the vampire series. According to reports, this reel-life villain has been hooking up with Dobrev for a while now and the pair is said to have shared a few kisses in public on 14 December.
Fans have been rooting for the couple to get serious, but as per a HollywoodLife source, the actors are just looking to have a good time.
"They are great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together but they are not currently looking to start a relationship. They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues."
However, the same cannot be said of Dobrev and her ex-boyfriend Somerhalder, who is currently dating one of her close friends, Nikki Reed.
Dobrev is reportedly tired of Somerhalder flaunting his relationship on the set of "The Vampire Diaries," and this has caused such a friction between them that she has requested producers of the show to limit her screen time with Somerhalder.
Meanwhile, it's too soon to say how Dobrev's relationship with Wood will turn out, but fans have already started wishing they would end up together in the long run.
Check out a few messages below.
First Ian Somerhalder and now Chris Wood, both very charming. Nina Dobrev's relationships are very admirable.
