American actor/comedian Pete Davidson is reportedly obsessed over the planning of his upcoming wedding with Ariana Grande. The 24-year-old artist apparently wants his nuptials to be an extravagant affair.
According to Life & Style, Davidson "is talking about flying their family and friends out to Hawaii, having Drake perform, and ordering designer tracksuits for his groomsmen."
"Ariana is picking up the tab! She given Pete a taste of the good life, and it's turned him into the ultimate Groomzilla!" the insider added.
"Ariana's family is urging her to pump the brakes and slow down long enough for Pete to sign a prenup. She has much more money than he does, but all she can think about is getting married," the source shared. "No one is saying Pete is a gold digger, but if she isn't careful, she could lose a lot."
"She's not listening to anyone. Her family is freaking out about how fast she's moving. She says she knows in her soul that she and Pete will be together forever. But that's exactly why her parents are worried — she barely knows Pete!" the insider continued.
The 25-year-old No Tears Left to Cry singer and the Saturday Night Live cast member started dating in mid-May and got engaged in June.
Their engagement came as a shock as she had split with boyfriend of two years, Mac Miller in May. They called it quits due to their busy schedules.
Meanwhile, Davidson bought an engagement ring worth $100,000 for Grande in May. The 3-carat pear-shaped ring took two weeks to be made. Jeweller Greg Yuna told E! News: "Pete called me at the end of May and said 'Look, I'm getting a ring. This is what I want'. And I told him that I had the right ring for him. He didn't tell me who it was for but told me to keep it a secret. He didn't tell me anything about it."
