Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is now considered as one of the finest actors in the Hindi film industry. His recent release, Sacred Games, directed by Anurag Kashyap has received rave reviews for the story as well as performances.
According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, The actor will now appear in Tannishtha Chatterjee's untitled directorial debut.
It looks like he has found love in his co-star, Italian actress Valentina Corti, who has been roped in to play opposite to Nawazuddin in the film.
The actor shared a picture on Instagram and wrote a beautiful caption for the Italian beauty. He wrote: "Yeh Ladki mere 'rome rome mein' hai.''
Talking about casting Valentina, director Tannishtha spoke to Mumbai Mirror and said, "I knew she was the one the first time I met her. Valentina is very beautiful, a great actress and well-known in Italy. I did a few days of workshop with both of them before we started shooting and they get along really well, joking and pranking each other. She is a fun person,"
Valentina is known for appearing in popular TV shows like All The Music Of The Heart, Titanic: Blood and Steel. She has also worked in Game Of Thrones and Frozen.
As part of a bonding exercise, Tannishtha sent the actors on a dinner date so they could get to know each other better. She also gave them five difficult tasks to do that led to Nawaz exclaim, "I thought I was going on a romantic dinner and you gave me so many tasks!"
The film is based on strange experiences that are based on true incidents from Tannishtha's life. She shared her story with Nawazuddin and was so intrigued that he decided to work on the film.
"We are shooting in many iconic locations while sampling the local cuisine as Rome and food go hand-in-hand," says Tannishtha.
"Wherever we go, not only Indians but also the Asian community and Italians who follow Bollywood films are waiting for Nawaz. Our local crew has strict instructions not to reveal our schedule since Valentina is also a popular face and shooting can get really difficult," she said.
