Has Mithun Chakraborty's health deteriorated? Pictures of him on hospital bed leaked online

Speculations are rife over Mithun Chakraborty's health after his picture on a hospital bed has been making rounds on social media.

A couple of pictures that appeared on Facebook shows the veteran actor lying on a hospital bed with an oxygen mask covering his face. A fan posted the pictures on the social media platform with a caption saying that Mithun is seriously unwell, and prayed for his speedy recovery.

The post has already got over 3,000 shares, and people are already praying for his good health in the comments section.

Although there has not been any update on the iconic actor's health condition, the post could just be another hoax. The images could also be from one of his recent movies.

International Business Times, India tried to contact Mithun's son Mimoh and daughter Dishani, but they have not responded to the messages yet.

A couple of months ago, it was reported that the actor was having a serious back pain, for which he was admitted to a hospital in Delhi. Similar reports had popped up last year, claiming that Mithun was suffering from severe fever and was hospitalised. However, Mimoh had clarified that he had gone for a routine check-up and he was absolutely fine.

At this age of digital media, fake news circulates like a wildfire, and it is hard to confirm anything unless the news comes from an authentic source. Until then, we wish Mithun a good health.
