News went viral on Monday that the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BSEM) had declared HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) or Class 10 examination results 2017, creating anxiety among students and parents alike. But it turned out to be just another rumour.
It came almost a week after the Council of Higher Secondary Exam declared the results of Class 12 exams 2017.
A PDF file claimed to be containing results of exams was widely circulated on social media, especially on instant message platform WhatsApp on Monday. It went viral with the app users sharing widely on groups, but it is said to be the results of HSLC exams 2016 and not this year's.
