Ben Higgins, the star of the upcoming season of ABC's dating reality show "The Bachelor", has set tongues wagging after he was spotted allegedly flirting with a blonde bombshell.
Higgins and Kelly Osborn were seen "acting like a couple" during a Taylor Swift concert early this month, a friend of Osborn's told OK!Magazine.
"Ben was with this girl, Kelly Osborn, hugging, flirting and laughing closely," the source said. "They were in their own world and seemed really cute and happy together."
However, the source termed their interaction "scandalous" as Higgins is all set to start filming the next season of "The Bachelor" on 24 September. Not much is known about Osborn other than that she resides part-time in Denver, which is where Higgins lives.
Interestingly, Higgins has also been linked to "Bachelor in Paradise" contestant Tenley Molzahn. Rumours of a romance started doing the rounds after the duo was spotted hanging out together in July. At the time, a source said that the duo wanted to hook up and take their relationship to the next level, but decided against it as they did not want to jeopardise Higgins' stint as the next "Bachelor."
However, an E!Online source slammed these rumours stating, "She and Ben had the opportunity to get to know each other and I think if they connected on the level that Kaitlyn [Bristowe] and Nick did, it would be a different story."
"Also, Tenley wants to be pursued, not the pursuer and she doesn't want to be put in the insecure position of competing with a bunch of girls," the source added.
The media outlet also noted that Higgins' season of "The Bachelor" will be "very straightforward," and there won't be any crazy surprises similar to what was featured in Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of "The Bachelorette."
Season 20 of "The Bachelor" is set to air in early 2016. In an earlier interview with People, Higgins said he was looking forward to a happy ending.
"I'm ready to share my life with somebody. And I'm not fearful of the idea of getting married," he said. "As soon as I can find that person, it seems like the better life will be. Ideally at the end of this, I will be proposing."
