The Haryana Board of Education has decided to delay the Class 10 board exam results and hence students who appeared for the exam this year will have to wait a bit longer before they can check their scores online on the board's official website.
It was earlier said that the results would be announced on Saturday, May 20 but the board's spokesperson Meenakshi said that the results would be delayed. "We are not declaring the results on May 20. But soon we will declare the dates after meeting the chairman. On May 20, the board will be declaring the results of Haryana open board of class 10," Hindustan Times quoted Meenakshi as saying.
Here's how you can check your exam results online:
- Log on to the website www.bseh.org.in
- Click on the link for Class 10 result
- Fill in the required details such as registration number and date of birth
- Hit submit and you will be able to access your results
- You can then download and take a printout of the same
The board had declared the class 12 results on Thursday, May 18, and chairperson Jagbir Singh had said that the class 10 results too would be out soon. The class 12 results were announced before class 10 results so that students could apply to various universities for undergrad studies soon.
About 7.5 lakh students are estimated to have appeared for the Class 12 and 10 board exams in the state this year.
