The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Happy New Year" (HNY) is ready and has been viewed by director Farah Khan, film's crew members and industry insiders.
After watching the first copy of the film's trailer Tuesday, the director took to Twitter to reveal that it will be officially released on 14 August.
"What an xciting nite.. Watching the 1st copy of #HNY trailer with the crew!!" Farah posted on her Twitter handle.
The makers of the film have decided to launch the trailer in Mumbai on a grand note on 14 August. They have put in place a huge digital campaign to make sure that the first look of the film reaches to all fans around the world. Farah and the crew of "HNY" team is all excited to launch the theatrical trailer next week.
The trailer has got positive response from the industry insiders who have watched the first promo.

Shah Rukh is leaving no stone unturned to make the trailer launch, which is called as "Indiawaale" celebration, a grand event. The "HNY" team, which includes Farah, Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sood and Vivaan Shah will be present at the trailer launch in Mumbai.
Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd on Wednesday announced that the first look would be released on 14 August.
"Indiawaale sentiment is an integral element of the film hence on the eve of Independence Day, the first look of the film is being launched as a part of Indiawaale celebration," an official statement from Red Chillies said, according to IANS.
"Unlike other trailer launches, there will be surprise performances based on the theme of Indiawaale and a huge digital campaign has been put in place to make sure that the trailer is seen by most of the audiences of Indian cinema across the globe," the statement read further.
