The first poster of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Happy New Year" will release on 2 January, on social networking sites.
The film's director Farah Khan announced on her Twitter handle that the first poster of her new film would be unveiled tomorrow.
The filmmakers have started a social media campaign, which is said to be unique, to launch the poster of "Happy New Year".
The main actors of the film, including SRK, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Abhishek Bachchan, will participate in the campaign. According to the campaign, fans will get personalised "HNY posters autographed by the actors.
"Send #HappyNewYear #WackyWishes @HNY & if I like it, I will not only re-tweet it but also send you a personalized new year message," Shah Rukh tweeted.
"Every fan can get personalised #HNYPoster autographed by Shah Rukh Khan. Tweet now to @iamsrk with @Hny #HNYPoster & Get Yours Now! Hurry!!"
All other stars also took to Twitter and posted about the personalised autographed poster gift.
"Guys, I'll send you a personalised #HNYPoster autographed. Just tweet me @juniourbachchan with @HNY #HNYPoster," Jr. Bachchan stated.
"I will send you a personalised #HNYPoster in your name handwritten by me. Tweet to @bomanirani with @HNY #HNYPoster," Irani tweeted.
Shah Rukh released the poster of his 2013 blockbuster "Chennai Express" last January, and the "HNY"makers are following the same path.
Farah had announced her plan to make "Happy New Year" in 2005 but the project got postponed. However, much to her relief, the shooting of the film finally began last year. The team has finished shooting the first schedule of the film in Dubai.
