Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, who recently received the Life OK! Screen Award in the best actress category, has dedicated the award to Kangana Ranaut for her performance in Vikas Bahl's "Queen".
"Thank you for this award, but I really believe this year belonged to Kangana. So Kangana, this one's for you," Deepika, who received the award for "Happy New year", said during the grand event.
Earlier, Deepika had mentioned that she was jealous of Kangana's performance after watching the blockbuster film. She even called it an outstanding film.
Interestingly, like Aamir Khan, the "Fashion" actress also stands against award functions and has never endorsed the concept.
"I have made it clear I will not be part of the award ceremonies, I just do not believe in that nonsense. 15 awards, 5 hour long ceremonies. When do you expect us to make movies?" the actress had earlier said during an interview with NDTV.
2014 was a good year for Kangana as her film "Queen" broke many box office records and the actress was praised for her versatile acting skills. She also received many accolades for her performance in "Revolver Rani".
Kangana will next be seen in "Katti Batti", opposite Imran Khan. The Nikhil Advani directorial will hit the screens on 18 September.
