India celebrates its 69th Independence Day on 15 August, 2015. Although it is a Saturday, many schools and colleges have conducted cultural programmes to celebrate 69 years of India's freedom.
On this joyous occasion, most people also wished their friends and acquaintances on social media. The social networking sites are flooded with Independence Day wishes and greetings such as "Jai Hind" and "Vande Mataram".
