Following the dramatic incidents at the Kerala Assembly on Friday, Left Democratic Party has called for a state-wide hartal in the southern Indian state on Saturday, 14 March 2015.
Kerala assembly witnessed ruckus and protests on Friday, while Finance Minister KM Mani was presenting the 13th State Budget.
After protests broke out in the south Indian state, social media pages were flooded with memes on the FM and the behaviour of the politicians.
Many even suggested that kindergarten kids are better behaved than the educated elected representatives of the state.
Meanwhile, stones were reportedly pelted on state transport buses in some parts of Kerala on Saturday.
With numerous hartals and protests all over the state, Gods own country now considers hartal as it own festival.
Social media users have already started 'celebrating' the hartal day on Internet with the hashtag #Happyhartal.
