India is celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali or Deepavali, on 11 November. It is one of the most important Hindu festivals, celebrated both in and outside the country.
According to the Hindu mythology, this auspicious festival commemorates Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya with Sita and Lakshman after killing Ravana.
The five-day festival of joy and love automatically fills every nook and cranny with light.
Be it online or street shops, markets are full of Diwali offers. It is the time to buy new things for yourself and your loved ones.
From crackers to sweets to diyas, Diwali is a colorful celebration of lights.
To celebrate the auspicious occasion with fans and followers, Bollywood celebs like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and others wished on social media.
HAPPY DIWALI beautiful people!! Thank you 4 filling my world with ur love. I feel gratitude that I get 2 live dis journey with all of you.
