- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a long day planned ahead of him. He visited the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada river to kickoff the "Namami Narmade" festival. Modi will be spending almost the entire day in Gujarat.
- The prime minister would address a gathering, following which, Narendra Modi will inspect some ongoing developmental projects near the dam and the Statue of Unity.
- Later in the day, PM Modi will meet his mother, Hiraben, to seek her blessings on his birthday.
