Superstar Mohanlal's next, Villain has been making headlines for quite some time, thanks to its ensemble star cast that even includes Tamil and Telugu actors. B Unnikrishnan, who is wielding the megaphone, has been sharing the updates on his Facebook page since the time the movie started rolling on March 3 in Thiruvananthapuram. Now, he has revealed the news of getting Tamil actress Hansika Motwani on board.

Hansika joined "Villain today," the filmmaker posted on social media. Parts of her role in the upcoming thriller are being shot during the final schedule. The actress, who is making her debut in Malayalam with Villain, looks absolutely gorgeous in the photo shared by the director.
The big-budget entertainer bankrolled by renowned Tamil producer Rockline Venkatesh also stars Tamil star Vishal, Telugu actors Raashi Khanna and Srikanth in significant roles.
Lady superstar Manju Warrier is the female lead in the Mohanlal-starrer. The veteran Malayalam actor is said to play the role of a retired police officer by name Mathew Manjooran.
Renji Panicker, Siddique, Aju Varghese, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan, Idavela Babu, Kottayam Nazeer and Balaji Sarma also appear in significant roles in Villain, which is the first Indian movie to be completely shot and release in 8K resolution. The official teaser of the thriller has already impressed the audience, and the movie is expected to hit the theatres in July as the team has decided to wrap up the shoot by June end.
