Reports doing the rounds had suggested that Hansika Motwani was approached for Suriya's next movie "Singam 3". But, the actress has denied the news.
She took to Twitter to clarify the news and wrote, "Good morning all News for today : I was never approached for singam 3 #rumours." With this development, the speculations on the actress being part of the Tamil film has come to an end.
It was said earlier that Hansika Motwani, who had played the second fiddle of a student in "Singam 2" was part of its next instalment. The news had surprised the fans as her character had died in the previous film.
Meanwhile, the makers have reportedly roped in Shruti Haasan to play the second fiddle in "Singam 3". Like earlier two instalments, Anushka Shetty will be the female lead who will be seen romancing Suriya in the Hari directorial action thriller.
It is reported that Shruti Haasan was approached earlier and the deal was struck recently. The industry is assuming that the actress would be seen in a negative role in "Singam 3". This is her second film with the "Ghajini" star, after AR Murugadoss directorial "7aum Arivu".
The forthcoming Tamil film will take off in September. "Singam 1" and "Singam 2" were blockbusters, where Suriya was seen as the aggressive and honest cop. The racy screenplay backed with action elements and punch dialogues were instant hits among mass audience.
