Kendra Wilkinson is said to be thinking about divorcing her husband Hank Baskett, after she came to know that he cheated on her before hooking up with transsexual model Ava London.
The Aug. 4 print edition of In Touch Magazine claims that a year and a half ago Wilkinson's friend revealed to her that Baskett was fooling around with a stunning brunette. Baskett is said to have admitted to the affair when Wilkinson confronted him, reported Celeb Dirty Laundry.
But they decided to give their marriage yet another shot, and even welcomed a baby together in May. But ever since reports of Baskett's affair with London started doing the rounds, Wilkinson, too, is hooking up with other men in a bid to move on with her life, noted Celeb Dirty Laundry.
The reality show star was recently spotted club-hopping with friends, and eyewitnesses said she was having a good time with her pals.
However, a source told People that Wilkinson was merely trying to have fun, and not looking to hook up with men.
"They were celebrating a girlfriend's birthday," the source said, adding, "She wasn't on the prowl, but she was open to talking to guys and just having fun."
"Hank and Kendra are on speaking terms, but she's still so mortified by the situation. [The cheating] happened before, but she's done [with the marriage]. It's more about the kids and the finances now," an insider told People. "She's an optimistic person and wants people to know she's doing better, which is why she's going out."
In the meantime, Wilkinson's family members have been asked to stay mum on the alleged divorce rumors, and several reports indicate that she might be saving the drama for cameras.
Recently, when Wilkinson's grandmother has been asked not to talk about Baskett's alleged affair with the transsexual model, which is said to have occurred when Wilkinson was pregnant with their daughter.
"I'm not permitted to answer," Mary Stotz told Radar Online. "They're my instructions."
However, the People source said that Wilkinson is not necessarily looking forward to airing her dirty laundry on her reality show.
"They're contractually obligated and are in the middle of filming," says the insider. "But she doesn't want people talking about it for the rest of her life. She just wants to move forward."
Ever since news of the affair went viral in June, Wilkinson has been spotted without her wedding ring, and on the couple's fifth wedding anniversary, moving trucks were spotted outside of their Calabasas mansion, reported Radar Online.
Wilkinson and Baskett's representatives are yet to respond to the claims made by In Touch magazine.
