The makers of Emraan Hashmi-Vidya Balan starrer "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" have released the trailer of the film on Monday, 4 May.
Directed by Mohit Suri of "Ek Villain" fame, the film highlights the heart-wrenching love story of the lead actors Emraan and Vidya.
While it might sound like any other romantic film, the twist in the story is Rajkummar Rao, who plays Vidya's possessive husband. His possessiveness makes life difficult for Vidya, who finds love in Emraan. Emraan is willing to accept her with open arms and give her all the love and care she deserves.
This is the third time Vidya and Emraan have been paired opposite each other after "The Dirty Picture" and "Ghanchakkar".
While the recently launched poster has been receiving positive responses, the impressive trailer peppered with soul-rendering music and scenic backdrops, is expected to garner huge response as well.
Going by the trailer, the film looks promising, hinting of yet another super hit romantic drama by Mohit after "Aashiqui 2".
Reportedly, "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" is based on the lives of Mahesh Bhatt's parents, Nanabhai Bhatt, Shirin Mohammad Ali and his stepmother.
Produced by Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios, "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" is slated to be released worldwide on 12 June.
