The recently released trailer of Emraan Hashmi-Vidya Balan starrer "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" has created a fan frenzy on social networking sites.
The trailer has gone viral garnering over two million views on YouTube in less than a week since its release.
Directed by Mohit Suri of "Aashiqui 2" fame, the film highlights the heart-wrenching love story of the lead actors Emraan and Vidya.
The film also has Rajkummar Rao, who plays Vidya's possessive husband. His possessiveness makes life difficult for Vidya, who finds love in Emraan.
Emraan and Vidya's on-screen chemistry looks promising. This is the third time Vidya and Emraan have been paired opposite each other after "The Dirty Picture" and "Ghanchakkar".
Besides the viral trailer, the film's poster too has been receiving tremendous responses, hinting of yet another super hit romantic drama by Mohit after "Aashiqui 2".
"Hamari Adhuri Kahani" is reportedly based on the lives of Mahesh Bhatt's parents -- Nanabhai Bhatt and Shirin Mohammad Ali -- and his stepmother.
Produced by Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios, "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" is slated for the worldwide release on 12 June.
The "Murder" actor took to his twitter handle to announce the success of the trailer and thanked his fans for their overwhelming support.
