The makers of "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" starring Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan have released the latest track from the film.
Titled "Zaroori Tha", the track has been sung by Pakistani qawwali maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
The video showcases the emotional love story of the lead stars and the pain they go through. Much like the previous songs that created magic among music lovers, "Zaroori Tha" too is a treat to the ears.
Earlier, the film's title track by Arijit Singh mesmerised music lovers. This was followed by Angaraag Mahanta's (Papon) beautifully rendered song "Humnava" and Ami Mishra's "Hasi", all of which were chartbusters.
"Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Zaroori tha' is a fantastic song and I was deeply moved when I heard the song. It has so much romance, pain and love that I was touched. I am thrilled that the song is part of 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani'," director Mohit Suri said in a statement, reported IANS.
From the makers of "Aashiqui 2" and "Ek Villain", "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" revolves around a love triangle between Rajkummar Rao, his wife Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi.
While the plot of "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" is quite predictable by now, going by the soulful and romantic music album combined with the viral trailer, the film is expected to break a few box office records.
Produced by Mahesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios, "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" is slated for worldwide release on 12 June.
