Narain and Meghana Raj's latest Malayalam movie "Hallelooya," released on May 20, has opened to positive response from movie-goers. Debutant Sudhi Anna-directed family entertainer has been tagged as a good movie that offers some nostalgic moments for the audience.
The entertainer, which marks the comeback of Narain to Malayalam after the 2014 movie "Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal," also has Sudheer Karamana, Sunil Sukhada, Sajitha Madathil, Ganesh kumar, Sasi Kalinga, Saju Navodaya and Master Eric in pivotal roles.
Plot
The movie narrates a man's journey back to his past. The emotional story goes through the life of a psychiatrist named Dr Roy (Narain), who has been settled in France for 23 years. On receiving a letter from Fr Francis, who raised him as a child, Dr Roy returns to his village although he was not in touch with anyone there. After reaching the village, he meets his childhood friend Meera Menon (Meghana Raj), who has now become a paediatrician. The story then takes them back to the time when they were in love years before.
