Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's "Haider" bagged five awards at the 62nd National Film Awards announced on 24 March. To celebrate its success, Bhardwaj threw a party Tuesday evening.
The bash was attended by actress Shraddha Kapoor, singer Sukhwinder Singh, fashion designer Masaba Gupta, "Queen" director Vikas Bahl and several other celebs.
The film, which has already received several other awards, bagged the National Award as well in various categories. "Haider" got five awards, including Best Music director, Best Dialogue, Best Choreography, Best Costume Designer and Best Male Playback Singer.
Bhardwaj was disappointed that actor Shahid Kapoor didn't win the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film. "We have got five awards and I am overwhelmed. I am a bit disappointed for Shahid. His performance was really good in the film. I feel sad for Shahid," India West quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, both Shraddha and Shahid shared their joy on Twitter.
And Haider wins 5 at the national awards . So so so happy . Every one of them so well deserved . Proud . Big grin .
