While rumours were rife that SS Rajamouli is all set to direct Ajith's next movie, it is now being said that that it is not the "Baahubali" creator but young director H Vinoth, who is likely to work with the actor in his 57th movie.
On Wednesday (5 August), the buzz was that SS Rajamouli had asked his writer father S Vijayendra Prasad to pen a story keeping Ajith in mind, in which Telugu actor Allu Arjun would also play a key role. However, some reports have now claimed that H Vinoth of "Sathuranga Vettai" fame is most likely to helm the actor's project, which is presently called "Thala 57".
H Vinoth reportedly approached the makers with a story and it has impressed them. They have asked him to develop the complete story and come up with a bound script. Nonetheless, nothing has been confirmed yet at this stage.
Ajith's 57th movie has been in the limelight for a while now. News of AR Murugadoss, KV Anand, Vishnuvardhan and Shankar along with many others teaming up with the actor have been swirling around for a while, but nothing seems to have materialised.
Ajith is currently busy with his 56th movie directed by Siruthai Siva and 65% of the shooting has been completed. The film is set to hit the screens for Diwali in the month of November.
Confirming the news, journalist Sreedhar Pillai posted, "#Thala56 update - Producer #AMRatnam says 65 % of shoot is over with Kolkata schedule complete. Film is scheduled 4 a big Diwali release."
"Thala 56" is produced by AM Rathnam and this is his third film with Ajith after "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal". Shruti Haasan, for the first time, is working with the "Mankatha" star. Lakshmi Menon and Kabir Duhan Singh are also a part of the flick.
