Gwyneth Paltrow has moved on from her "conscious uncoupling" with "Coldplay" frontman Chris Martin and is now dating television producer Brad Falchuk. However, Martin is not completely out of her life. In a recent interview, the "Iron Man" actress revealed that she still takes out time to cook for her ex-husband.
"Of course I cook for him," she said, according to Daily Mail. "Chris is always welcome at my house and I at his. We go on holidays together — it's all very relaxed." Family dinners helped her family get through a very rocky period when she and Martin decided to separate, revealed Paltrow, adding that she and Martin were already separated for a year when they announced their split in 2014.
Martin has since been linked to Jennifer Lawrence and more recently, to British actress Annabelle Wallis, and Paltrow is happy Martin is moving forward in life. "Of course, there are days when you have difficult feelings, but with time it is fine. I really want Chris to be happy," she said.
But will Martin's unusual relationship with Paltrow affect his new romance with Wallis? Martin's close relationship with his ex was rumoured to be one of the reasons why his relationship with Lawrence did not work. Reportedly, Lawrence wasn't happy that Paltrow still had a hold on Martin.
"Jennifer just couldn't compete and didn't want to," a source told HollywoodLife in October 2014. "Chris is clearly not over Gwyneth and his main priority is his kids. Jennifer really respects him, but she wants a man of her own. And Chris has been spending lots of time with Gwyneth and their kids lately. It was just a bit too much for Jen. She doesn't want to be second to anyone. You can't blame her," the source added.
