Gwen Stefani is reportedly not ready to tie the knot with Blake Shelton. The 49-year-old singer is apparently still dealing with the emotional fallout of the previous relationship.
According to a report in Hollywood Life, Gwen, who started dating the Austin hitmaker in November 2015, after meeting on The Voice set, wants to spend more time with the country crooner before settling down. A source said: "Gwen is hesitant to get marred again, but it's something she deeply wants to do as does Blake when the time feels right. Gwen is afraid to get married because she was so hurt by the ending of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale."
"Though she knows things are different with Blake, she is scared by the entire divorce process to this day," the insider added. "It was really hard for her. Gwen is proud of how far she has come and knows things would be different this time around, but she's not quite there yet."
"Right now, she's truly enjoying where things are at with Blake and feels no pressure to wed anytime soon and Blake isn't going to push her, either," the source went on.
In July 2015, Blake and Miranda Lambert announced their divorce after four years of marriage. The couple released a statement to E! News saying: "This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."
The following month, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale revealed they are splitting after 13 years of marriage. They said in a joint statement: "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."
