Four members of a family in Pataudi, Haryana's Gurugram district, died under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday. While three of them were found dead inside their house, the fourth member, who was a year old, succumbed to injuries at a medical centre.
Speaking to ANI, the police said that they found a woman's body hanging from the ceiling and two bodies lying on the floor.
The incident came to light after a milkman found the bodies lying in a pool of blood. He immediately informed the village sarpanch, who then informed the local authorities.
The deceased have been identified as Manish, 25, his wife Pinki (23), their one-year-old daughter Charu, Manish's mother Fulbati (62).
Charu was rushed to the hospital in Haileymandi but died during treatment.
The village sarpanch told The Times of India that the door of their house was wide open and he went in to check if everything was alright. He found the bodies and immediately called the police.
The police have initiated a probe into the matter.
