The trailers of upcoming Malayalam movies "Guppy" and "Ann Maria Kalippilaanu" were released on July 16 and 17, respectively, on the video sharing website YouTube. Both the trailers have opened to a positive response from the audience.

Guppy

The trailer of director Johnpaul George's upcoming movie "Guppy" was released on the YouTube page of the production house E4 Entertainment on Saturday. "Presenting the theatrical trailer of my friend Tovino's "GUPPY", starring Chethan, directed by John Paul George and produced by E4 Entertainment. What a brilliant trailer it is...watch out for this one guys [sic]," actor Prithviraj Sukumaran posted while sharing the trailer on his Facebook page. Earlier, each first-look posters of the movie was released by celebrities Aashiq Abu, Anwar Rasheed, Sameer Thahir, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Fahadh Faasil and Dulquer Salmaan.

The colourful trailer features Chethan Jayalal, Tovino Thomas, Rohini, Sreenivasan, Dileesh Pothan, Alancier Ley and Noby. The two-minute 22-second trailer had been viewed more than 1.3 lakh times, at the time of reporting. The production venture of E4 Entertainment in association with Yopa Productions will be released on July 29.

Ann Maria Kalippilaanu

The trailer of director Midhun Manuel Thomas' second movie "Ann Maria Kalippilaanu," starring Baby Sara, Sunny Wayn and Aju Varghese in the lead roles, was released on Sunday on the YouTube page of Goodwill Entertainments. The 1-minute 23-second video, narrated by comedian Hareesh, features the lead actors along with Saiju Kurup, Siddique, Shine Tom Chacko, Dharmajan Bolgatty and Sethulakshmi, among others. It also shows the cameo appearance of Dulquer Salmaan.

The family entertainer, being produced by Alice George, is scheduled to hit the screens on August 5.
