PC gamers can brace for the excitement of seeing their favouirte game on their desktops as Brazilian retailer Nuveem has confirmed that GTA V PC version will be out by 12 March.
Several rumours about GTA V PC version release date have been doing the rounds of late but Nuveem is confident the game will be released for PC in March. In his interview with Thiago Diniz, he said: "I see no problem talking. I think until now been confirmed. Is scheduled for March on PC, if I'm not mistaken, for the 12th," according to Techinews' translation.
This report is consistent with previous rumors regarding the PC version of the most popular console game. However, Fansided finds it rather unusual for Rockstar Games to have Wednesday release, since "game releases are mostly on Tuesdays and Fridays".
Amazon had reported that the PC version will be released in March but the information it provided to some customers happened to be incorrect. An Amazon customer support staff told a customer [in German] that "according to our information, GTA V PC will be announced on 12/24 and according to our source; it will be released in the USA on 03/12 and here on 03/14," Examiner reported.
But rumors apart, the studio has not revealed any information on the release of GTA V PC version, though there has been some speculation among fans that Rockstar Games might hold up the PC release till support for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is ready.
Rockstar had tweeted in December 2013 that "unfortunately, we will not release any information about that yet," when a customer asked when if they will be releasing GTA V or PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
